Flood Meeting...buy Flood Insurance

A flood meeting followed our road meeting.

Bottom line: Neighbors were not happy because of what they viewed as lack of preparation on the part of the county. Yes, we will do all we can to help ourselves...but the county is lacking in help. There were plenty of fireworks at the meeting end.

Next two meetings...Thursday , 6 PM at Auburn City Hall.
the City of Auburn will be having as many as ten meetings. I will post the info as it come in.

Pam

Your Identification

For some reason I am not able to moderate this blog like I do my other one: pamroachreport.blogspot.com.

That means when you comment I can not restrict the viewing. Because that is the case for now...you may not want to submit your name. I see no problem with that..but I wanted you to know.

Community Meeting For Protection Of Our Road

Who: Pam Roach, Rep. from Reagan Dunn's office, from county roads dept., our neighbors

Where: Flaming Geyser State Park Meeting Hall

What: An update and discussion about potential road access from Black Diamond developments to the Green Valley Rd. There will be the newest data available.

When: Monday, Sept. 14 at 5PM. We will precede the meeting on potential flooding that is being advertised for 6:30. I will be there at 5PM. We want to have a break between the two meetings. At least I do:o)

Status: Right now Dunn's office is saying that the cut in will not happen. We all know that things can change. The cut in access is on their map. The meeting will be a community organizational effort. It is better to be prepared than not. Thanks to those who have brought this to our attention.

Green Valley Road Neighborhood

The Green Valley Rd. is really a linear neighborhood. And, when our neighborhood faces significant change we act together in the best interest of our community to preserve the rural agricultural area that we are. And, indeed, we have been designated as such by King County.

Please comment to this blog your name, phone and email address if you wish to help in the current effort. I will keep all information private except to those who enter the list and live in our area.

See you on Monday, Sept. 14th at 6:30 PM at the FLOOD Meeting to be held at Flaming Geyser State Park.

If you send a note I will publish it with your name if you put your name in it. To send me your contact information...do that by just putting that in the comment section and I will not publish that.

Questions: Call me 253-735-4210. We will ask for community leader soon so you can call others. Let's get to work!
